i have a early model twin turbo ej20 subaru motor. its a rectangle skinny white sensor that is wired beside the differential sensor and the diff lock plug.. anybody have a clue what that white rectangle sensor is.. its about three inches long..

Duty solenoid dropping resistor for the auto trans ecu. Nothing to do with the engine management so shouldn't be part of the engine wiring anymore.
