wrx ecu and wiring

I have an ecu and harness i was told are off a 98 wrx. Does anyone know how i can verify that by the code on the ecu "8S" and also where can i find wiring diagrams for it? thanks:)

ok found a pinout courtesey of a post by gazman which seems to match but wiring diagram anyone?

That ECU looks the same as my EJ25 ECU. I have the wiring diagrams for it. The wiring diagrams are for everything up till 98, so should include your WRX motor. They are at home so can send to you tomorrow. Can you send me a link to the pinout post.

jzk25 on this forum is Al. Used to work for Sunspares up your way somewhere and he knows them inside out. Try PM him, but not sure how often he is on.

What numbers are on the ecu?

My pre98 wrx ecu has 2611 AC121 A18-000 D17

hi ratbug ecu numbers are : 22611 AD190 A18-000 D37 so looks as if its later would be good to find a subaru website with the numbers on it:tu:
