idle air control valve...never given them any thought until i realised the forester engine i bought didn't have one...normally it goes into the throttlebody you can see it between the coils and the intercooler

knowing a new one would cost more than i paid for the engine i had to think of something else...i have a couple of the old style ones...

and all they do is bypass air when the butterfly is closed...so made an adapter

yeah, i havent exceeded any limits, my photobuckets still only 10% full

exceeded bandwidth just means people on the internet have viewed my pics more times than photobucket can handle

it rolls over to a new month in a few days then they'll be back up
