hey all,
the one thing i don't have to finish off my conversion is the alternator plug and wiring, i have tried some wreckers but they only had the 2 and 3 pin types and mine is a 4 pin round plug.
so i was hoping some one could tell me what the 4 pins are, eg

bat+ , light and ign+ im guessing i will only need 3 of the 4 pins??

think i have it sorted after looking at your plug joel.
top left = bat
bottom left = ign power
bottom right = alt light
top right unused
correct me if im wrong though.

thats what i was thinking

4 pin ones are the old ones (my engine was a 94). I read somewhere the older 4pin ones wern't as reliable, not long after that it stopped charging... Like your experience, the wreckers had more of the later model ones, so managed to get one with the plug still attached, so put the 2 pin plug on my loom.
