hi guys,
i got an F20C engine off a Honda S2000 and was thinkin of a transplant in my 75 beetle.. anyone familiar with similar transplant???

Doubt it would fit
Weights would be all wrong as well

Well, your first problem is that I believe the Honda engine spins the wrong way! This is actually an advantage, because it means that you can use an unmodified Subaru box instead of the VW one. If you wanted to keep the VW box for some reason, you would have to flip the differential, which isn't too hard. If you want to fit it in a Beetle, then you will struggle to keep it looking stockish, as the engine will protrude quite a distance out of the back of the car, you would have to remove the rear valance and engine lid and fabricate some sort of huge box like the US drag Beetles do. So basically, it's a very difficult conversion. Here's a video of a sort of Baja/floorpan buggy cross-over with a Honda engine fitted. As you can see by the lines of the bodyshell, the Honda engine sticks out by at least 30cm.
