BOV bypass on ej20t

So if I've replaced the stock subaru blow off valve with an aftermarket (non plumb back) BOV, then I wont need the vacuum controlled bypass valve that plumbs back to the resonator box? ( I hope not, 'cause i cant find it)

Stock bov is not an option, even if I had one the intercooler has different fittings. Really don't want to have to modify it more. Engine is a 94 wrx ej20t import.
Think i'll just leave it off until I get a plumback ( quieter would be good)

I was always under the usumption that running without a blow off valve can damage the turbo as the back presure has no blow off valve to vent.

It'll have one, just wont vent back to the airbox or resonator box.
