Boozo - October 30th, 2010 at 02:36 PM

im lost. i asssume it fits as easily as an EJ22....but im just worried about where the turbo is gonna sit in relation to the firewall. ive scoured high and low for pics and cant find anything at all. even been on shoptalk. too much time...and no end result. any links or pics would be great :) cant wait to get this project underway. still havent decided on EJ20t or EJ22

in a van of any type i would suggest flipping the intake manifold 180...yeah its a bit of work but so is the conversion and its worth it:tu:

if you are going turbo it will hang out there in the breeze no need to worry about the fuel tank:grind:

ahh i see. but its a T4/vanagon/whatever. no room really behind the original engine as there is only a top engine cover. and the fuel tank is up front behind the front suspension so the tank isnt an issue. but good to know its do able if i need to ty

You will battle to find a good ej22 with low ks and good coolent history

Give Jason a call at all things subaru in qld and purchase a V3 sti or v4 sti , less the gear box

your looking for a motor with yellow injectors & a VF23 for long happy days behind the wheel
