Hi all, I have lost my sheet from Al?? who did my wiring loom for the subi with all the connections????
All of the wires have the duct tape and letters still on them but I now don't know where the a, b, c, d, etc go.
Al did my loom 3 years ago and I had the sheet last month as I started to draw up my other wiring needs but now can't find it anywhere. BUGGER!!!
does anyone know how Al configures his looms? I suspect he uses the same logic each time.
Does anyone have his number, I think he was up at Glass house mountains somewhere.
I have the sparkie coming this weekend and no sheet.....AHHHHHH....

you could try flipping him a PM (be sure to fill in the top subject box so it works)
or
Steve Carter or Joel would have his number
Hi Lou,
I would assume Al uses the same layout for each one
here's the sheet from mine anyway
thanks guys. Joel, yep that looks like the sheet I had as well. I will give Al a call just the same to let him know where I'm at with it.
Hi Lou
Joels looks the same as mine.
Wiring explanation for Subaru EJ20 motor
A – Battery power supply – Connect to battery positive via 30-amp circuit breaker.
B – Ignition switch power – Connect to ignition switch via 15-amp fuse.
C – Starter switch – Connect to starter solenoid wire. – This gives the ECU an “engine cranking” signal.
D – Vehicle speed sensor – earth switched square wave signal.
E – Radiator fan relay control – earth for fan relay coil. – Do not connect directly to fan.
F – Engine speed output – for tachometer.
G – Air conditioning on signal – connect to air con clutch wire – Signals ECU to idle up for air con load.
H – Check engine light – earth switch for 12-volt dash mounted LED warning light.
I - Fuel pump positive – to fuel pump positive terminal.
J - Fuel pump negative – to fuel pump negative terminal.
K – Earth for fuel pump control module – connect to clean secure earth on the chassis or engine.
L – Immobiliser status light - Earth switch for 12-volt constant power LED.
The key must be in the ignition barrel for the immobiliser to allow engine to start.
All connections should be soldered and insulated. ECU should be mounted in a dry secure position.
The brown 6-pin relay is the ignition relay.
The tin top relay with the white connector is the fuel pump relay.
The green pair of plugs is for self-diagnosis. They should not be connected unless when in diagnoses mode.
The black OBD connector is for the Subaru select monitor or aftermarket scan tool.
