Hi all
I have been looking online for info on dropping an eg33 into a t3 bus and just want to make sure i am thinking strait. The eg33 is from a subaru svx
and is a flat six boxer, yes?. I was looking for a rebuild kit and all i could find was an svx v6 from subaru kit. please confirm.
also are there any experts in what papers i have to get to move a bus from NSW or QLD down into VIC. What is best and easiest way? de-register and
transport unroadworthy or just transfer reg when in VIC.
What do these conversions do to your insurance? can you still get insurance?
Thanks.

Yes the EG33 is most definetly a flat six ie horizontilly opposed
Why doe's it need a rebuild , as they are good for big milage before needing opening up
If the vehicle is already registerd in another state then jsut transfer it into your name and then once to Vic do a residual registration change
And as for insurance , you will have no problems as long as the insurance company know of the engine change and it is engineer a pproved , which will
be no problem in a T3

The EG33 is the 3.3L Flat Six from the SVX. The H6 is the 3.0L and is the later flat 6 from the outback and others.
Both are great engines. The EJ 33 is simplier of the 2 but also an older design. Both will fit in the T3 and have been done before.
