Flywheel bolts
P4UL - April 15th, 2011 at 06:37 AM

Can anyone tell me the spline type & size needed to undo the flywheel to crank bolts with?
I dont want to buy a whole set just to find the right size etc when 1 will do.

I have a 2001 2ltr n/a Legacy engine.

Hey Guys,

Im in the UK. I managed to borrow one from a neighbour. Its a TX50 or T50 with 6 points inside if anyone else comes accross this. Flywheel is now off :)

make sure you use the solid type rather than the security ones with the hole in the middle. These don't take the torque required to get the solid torx screws off.

Good advice!

I wont be re-using them, my conversion flywheel came with a new set of hex head bolts.
