mjwcookie - June 15th, 2011 at 09:32 PM

hI all

Is a 2005 liberty h6 suitable for transplant into a t3/25. I have heard that the later models wont work because of the electrics. but do not know what year it cuts of for us.

All help gratefully received.

EZ30 EG33 swaps have been done before, later models have fly by wire throttles, if your handy with electrics or hunt around there are solutions around for that kinda swap, not vw/scoobie specific but everythings adaptable, other than that, inbuilt security etc are your other issues, though a stand alone ecu will usually fix those issues :tu:

Mark , try the search button above I am sure AM autos has listed one on this site

If i dont want fly by wire, can it be changed back to cable operated from on older H6. how would i get a stand alone loom, or is it the old one modified?
i have looked for other posts on this, but can seem to crack it or find AM autos or AMautos or amautos or iamautos. so more advice required. Thanks
