what are the ratios in the gear bag ?

Have you looked at Ricola's cabrio? He's using a G50.

I have to say though, it will be A LOT cheaper, easier to fit and almost as strong with a subaru trans. You won't need an adaptor plate either. It will also have the right ratios and LSDs and other hot up parts are more easily found. I spoke to Todd at the nats this year. I believe you can even use an early STi box which would be stronger still. The only reason I'd use a G50 is if I was using a porsche motor.

Not out of the Question, you'll have to cut the torsion tube and the floor pan and body, I have a G64-21 in my 76 bus.

Any questions , just call. 0402233027 Aaron.

They are huge and heavy and you will have a hard time getting it engineered in nsw. And about $5k

You'd have to say though, your's is up against some special challenges.

And only 4 speeds.

vlad01 - October 3rd, 2011 at 12:55 PM

technically a 2 speed with 2 overdrives :spin:

those 930 engine have some serious torque to turn those gears.

ttriebler - October 3rd, 2011 at 01:49 PM

Anyway....let me know if you want a 5 speed that fits without cutting to torsion tubes... :spin:
