Front Gearbox Strap

I'm struggling to get the front gearbox strap down into position. I have a late model swing axle box in a 1960 Baja. The strap either appears too
tall or the RHS of the strap seems too tight a fit to get below the seem of the horn.
Does anyone have any tips or a youtube link to install the front strap?
The standard gearbox mount wont survive long with 32" tyres.

What brand is the strap kit?
Do you have any pictures you can show us of the problem?
