11cab is that an awning on the roof of your bay? I was thinking of something like the caravans have on my buggy for camping.
Here's an action shot taken today........
Looking good Rhett, it's an awsome place hey!
Cheers, Ian.
Sick as.
Hey Phat Bug, cool place, we have a similar place like that here, but you're not allowed in there....not that it stops us...
I went in there the other day and there were a few 4wd parked at the entrance gate, and when a couple of bikes came out they told me they had tried to
get the 4wds in but couldnt get over the dirt mound....they even put rocks up against it to try and get over but couldnt......oh well back luck guys
and I drove straight over with no probs....LOL
MadManx yes it is an awning on our Kombi....here's a pic when we were on the beach....its self supporting so there are no needs for poles and it
takes 5 seconds to set up.

Was just thinking, if you have an Auto, you should put an oil cooler on the transmission, a guy I knew had a standard 78 Auto Kombi that he took on the beach and one trip destroyed the transmission, the oil gets too hot and cooks it.
Yeah I was thinking that yesturday, I might just convert it to a manual and be done with it!
That place is awesome we spent the whole day there, its maintained by the Bendigo 4WD club so theres some pretty chalanging tracks.
i gotta gets me a baja for some off road action.
i wanna baja this when im finished!
