Hey y'all,
Just a quick note to tell you all that I am buying the buggy that I've put in a few posts recently. Paid deposit today, pick up the car next
Saturday, all going well.
Now I just have to learn a whole heap about it.
After my questions about the dashboard, I had a look at it today, the original dash was apparently stuffed so he has built one there, lots of steel,
so I am going to look at getting lower seats for it, before I rip the dash to bits.
Hopefully over the next few months I can get the remainder of the work done and get it registered. Not much left to do.
I look forward to talking 'buggy' with you all...in my own gumby way, of course!
Good one!! Lotsa fun ahead!!
Good on ya for going ahead with it.
But first thing you should do is put that filler in another spot.
When you go around corners or hit bumpy sections you will have fuel spill out and come down the body and all over your arms and legs.
Don't the fillers actually seal? Where else would I put it?
off to one side or in the middle of the bonnet.
That way the neck is straight up and down and it limmits the splash.
I'll have to work on that one, see how it pans out.
Here is a (bad) pic of behind the dash, for your info. Apologies for quality.
