Perth Off Road Dubbers
64vwmark - March 28th, 2005 at 02:17 PM

Any Perth off road dubbers feel like a run in a few weeks time? I went for a run today with a mate ( who took his 4WD) and it was awesome after recent rains. All of the sand tracks are quite buggy friendly at the moment. I go to work for the next 2 weeks but I'm home on the 12th April. So I was thinking of Sun the 17th April. What do you think? Location?? Maybe some of the Rally Australia tracks in the hills. Also mud and snow tyres are welcome?

Guys, I am looking forward to a run and meeting you people. I need to get another couple of 15x7 rims so I can remount my wranglers ( I have 245 Kelly chargers on the back at the moment) and also fix a fuel leak. I have never driven this thing on the dirt so it should be fun.

Cheers

Pete

Cheers Moose,

the hardest thing to get at the moment is a leave pass from my better behaved half (and 19 month old) to get some work done on the buggy.

later in the year I am planning on building a new roll cage and can't find anyone with a rotary tube bender for hire, do you know of any locally that would be suitable for bending 1.75" and 1.5" tube?

Pete
