Drove all the way to boat harbour 4wd park in Kernel, Sydney, an hour and a half from my place in the western suburbs.
The guy at the front gate says "no buggies are allowed."
:cussing
costs 15 bucks to get in in a "registered 4wd" or 15 bucks to park ya 2wd in the freakin car park. I was spewin!!!
Guys, don't waste your time goin there. Freakin short sighted local councils!!
:cussing
i think Marine boy found out the same thing ,but yes as you say stupid councils
is there anywhere closer to Sydney than stockton where you can go on the beach and on some dunes?
I guess its time before we see the same in Perth
No dunes (or only small ones) but you can drive onto Blacksmiths Beach at Belmont if you want to test something
Kurnell - it's not the council, I don't think... privately owned
No buggies that blowes dude i would'nt have been able to control myself there would have coments like what are you scared of being shown up mate and dont you allow reall cars in here
Yep it is privately owned
But they let me in
That sucks most times the buggies out do the 4bees anyway
Same thing happened to me. (Knocked back at the gate)
So i came back at 6.00 after the dude knocked off and drove straight in. I think they leave the gate unlocked at night.
