Time for an off road run in perth..???
WABaja - April 27th, 2005 at 02:34 AM

Desert Moose - April 27th, 2005 at 08:40 PM

dieses ist die falsche Art des Schlammes umschlingend..... wie über die Reise, es auf dem 15. und dem tinsfci ist, habe ich ein carb, wenn Sie ein in der LageSEIN müssen zu kommen

Wüste Elche :thumb

this is the wrong type of mud slinging.....

how about the trip, it's on the 15th and tinsfci, I have a carb if you need one to be able to come

tinsfci - April 28th, 2005 at 12:07 AM

Cheers Moose.

I have replaced the points and coil, and also found a heap of crud in the fine filter just before the needle in the carb. Not running bad now but still dies every so often. Let it sit for a minute and off she goes again. #2 plug shows a touch rich but nothing to cry about.

I also need to investigate the crankshaft endfloat before I go silly in the dirt. Looks like I will have a busy few weeks.

I went for a blast last Saturday night and some people wearing blue shirts stopped me to compliment me on my exhaust volume. oops. Lucky not to get a nice sticker for the windscreen.

tinsfci - April 28th, 2005 at 12:09 AM

Is saying that it sounded like two harley davidsons an insult or a compliment?

Desert Moose - April 28th, 2005 at 12:23 AM

you think your busy.......lol

I have a race this weekend all the way out at brookton, then work all week (plus nights) and going to lancelin the following weekend . At some time I will need to lift the baja so it can go off road or a least take it back to standard with 15" tyres :P

VDUBXTC - April 28th, 2005 at 12:45 AM

Sorry Mr Moose.

phantom - April 28th, 2005 at 12:00 PM

So, as my buggy is close to rego-ready, do I have to learn this language to be able to communicate here?

Do we have a secret handshake too? Should I fit a 'cone of silence' off the back of the roll-bar? Do we wear dark glasses and write in secret ink?

tinsfci - April 28th, 2005 at 12:55 PM

Those questions can only be answered if you know the language and secret handshake, have a cone of silence on your rollbar and are wearing dark glasses. The secret ink is not compulsory on internet forums.

Pete

phantom - April 28th, 2005 at 03:23 PM

Verdammen Sie, wollte ich die geheime Tinte benutzen

WABaja - April 28th, 2005 at 07:50 PM

How about going to the Nostalga Drags at Motorplex...
I think I might be going there with a job on the back..
Not sure yet but I just remembered I've had a tentative booking for that for about 3 months...:(

I saw that too. Would be good to see.

Maybe we could check out some tracks near the motorplex? If there is any.

I'm keen for a burn off road too, but I'll go with the flow.

WABaja - May 3rd, 2005 at 05:26 AM

Somehow I don't think I'll be permitted to take a drag car off roading....

There is a couple of good off road areas down that way though...
