Where are you?
If you click on Control Panel in the top right of the screen, you can edit your profile and add a Location for where you are.
Might help in some responses from someone in your State.

Not certain about legality, I think its ok if the manufacturer used them, ie. Porsche. But you need to know that wheel adaptors will increase your track, probably not such a prob with a lot of modern wheels having more offset inwards.

Actually Porsche used wheel spacers not adaptors.....not sure about adaptors legality

I use them on mine when i put the wheels from the commodore on my buggy.
Don't think it is legal, but its not illegal until you get caught in my book :D

The chance of getting flagged cant be that great just keep some standard rims for inspection time.

I think that the hi-way boys might check tread depth if their being real pains but unless your adapters / spacers have big daggy welds on them and appear a home job I seriously doubt that they will know much better.

Currently on eBay thought you might be keen

The boxes have a genuine look to them

(( VW Wheel Adapters

Here we have a set of 4 VW wheel adaptors. They adapt 1967 and earlier VW 5 lug brake drums to.....General Motors ( Chevrolet, Pontiac, ect) and HQ - WB Holden stud pattern.

They are in brand new condition, never used.
