Wilbinga to Seabird Run (WA)
64vwmark - July 6th, 2005 at 10:37 AM
Anyone interested in a day trip from Wilbinga (just north of Two Rocks) to Seabird?
I was thinking of Sunday 7th August, leaving in the morning so that we would be in time for lunch at Moore River then on to Seabird after lunch before
heading home in the afternoon.

There's plenty of sandhills there to get that turbo working.
It will be interesting to see.

That's the weekend before the next round of off road racing at Mogumber on the 21st..
I have a feeling The Moose might be a tad busy and I might be working on my speedway car..
But don't let me stop ya from going...:thumb

I was just talking to Moose today and he said the same thing.
Maybe we should put it on the back burner for a while.
I might just go for a play up in the pines instead, it's only five minutes from home.
Desert Moose - August 4th, 2005 at 12:05 AM
well............?
WAbaja can't make it Saturday Or Sunday
so Sunday is better for Brian ...... Mark doesn't care and Sunday would be better for me so unless some can't make it on Sunday that really wants to
come ..... I reckon Sundays the go.... All in favour say I nn[ Edited on3-8-2005 by Desert Moose ]

11am is good for me.
I don't mind meeting at the shop or Maccas but sometimes Maccas is busy on Sunday at lunch time so it might be better to meet at the shop.
Whatever.............
Desert Moose - August 4th, 2005 at 09:41 PM
got it off the back patio tonight and put some 9rx15 on the rear and rally tyres on the front .... now it looks off roady
it had a Flat battery and I had a lot of trouble finding stanard wheel nuts but I'm almost ready to go.........lol :P
64vwmark - August 4th, 2005 at 09:46 PM
Did you go for four or five stud rear wheels?
Did the tyres fit ok?
It will be much better than last time with proper tyres on it.

No Brian came to the party and lent me some wheels(what a nice guy)
I have taken the car out and hit some speed humps and got air....lol and they didn't hit so maybe all is ok, very close though. I better be careful
or they may be outlawed
64vwmark - August 5th, 2005 at 12:25 PM
I like your testing methods!
64vwmark - August 7th, 2005 at 09:30 PM
Thanks Desert Moose, Moosette, WABaja and Brian915 for a good day.
Hope you all had a good time too.
Sorry about Wilbinga Road, it was not that rough last time.
I think I might change my user name to First Time Mark, has a certain ring to it...........lol
Thanks for the tow WABaja, I'll recommend All Car Towing to anyone........
Desert Moose - August 7th, 2005 at 09:37 PM
yes , It was a good time
the tracks made up for the road in...lol
can't wait for the buggy
tinsfci - August 7th, 2005 at 11:25 PM
One of these days I will get to go and play with you guys! Spent half of today
adjusting the link pins (a rebuild is on the list) and chasing the rough running / dying problem. Ended with yet another tow home. Maybe next
time!:cry

Pfffffffffttttttt........
I'm gunna be running a book that has you at Very Long odds of ever coming on one of these runs....
It's not a car show, and the carby rebuild in the carpark of the Two Rocks Marina shopping centre will attest to the fact that your car doesn't have
to be perfect to come along...
:puke
Thanks to those that did go.. I had a great day and look forward to doing another one some day soon, Provided Mark Shows us that he has a FULL tank of
fuel before we leave AND a gerry can spare AND puts the Mufflers back on...!!!!

At the moment the track would need to be less than 300 metres from my house for me to get there without stopping at least once.
