they need some small fibreglass work done but ill fix that soon and then they will go on the car. im going to run my bug eye nose cone and the wide
eye guards giving me 2 sets of lights.
then ill need to make up a new front bar.
Nick
Those are the same fronts and rears as I run on mine...
the backs are ok but yuk to the fronts
those front guards are not the wide type front guards...
I have an old set of proper wide cheetah style guards laying around. They need some fiberglass repair though on both left guards. They are my old
guards from before I painted the car.
im now undecided whether ill be even using the fronts. might just stick with the bug eye guards....i dunno.
how bout snug "floating guards" light weight(cf?) axle mounted anyone done/doing thisi know it would increase sprung weight but could look very trick i dont have a baja/beetle 2 play with atm:cry and i dont think would suit the manxnn[ Edited on 25-8-2005 by dubbill ]
Driving through Mud with snug fitting guards is likely to tear them off.
Looks cool for a Hotrod Beetle, but I dont reckon it would work for a baja
