Well we finally got around to making up a new exhaust for EVLHRBY yesterday to give him the ground clearance and departure angle for some decent
jumps.
Its came out great considering we only used pipe from the original extractors and had did all the welding with a gas-less mig on the thin-walled
piping. Ill attack it with a flapdisc and give it a spray later, but for now its strong and seals very well.
The cannons didnt end up above the sparkplugs like most cannons as i need clearance there to be able to bolt the cage back onto its mounts (after its
been shortened heaps thanks to the new exhaust.)
But the SOUND. Its sounds totally f**king awsome. Like a WRX worked off its tits. Its definatly not quiet, but no EPA or bullshit to worry about up
here. Im gonna get some video footage thisarvo so i hope it comes across well.
So far, this little toy has cost me, $300. :thumb
Love it.
BTW, just looking at ya motor. Where your heater pipes come off the main shroud the outlets need to be blocked up. That way the air goes down over the
cylinders in stead of just straight out the shroud and the motor will run cooler, and therefore last longer.
Thanks for info. :thumb
Air cooled motor + NT = Shorter life span. Anything that cools more will help.
looks good.
u might want to work something around to protect those pipes running under the rocker covers.
u will find the cannon set ups have the pipes running beside or over the rocker covers to aviod them being hit.
