WA Trip up north this winter?
64vwmark - December 29th, 2005 at 11:42 PM

I'm just seeing if there is any interest in a trip up north this winter.

I'm not sure of exact locations or dates yet, but is anyone interested?

Naahhhh....

Kidding.... uuuhmmmm.. Who'll be towing your car MarkMark....???

We still gotta do that run down south that Moosette went to all that trouble to organise for us (thankyou Moosette) and remember the Wolfsburg to Wolf Creek is on the backburner....

:)

I've invested in a 20L jerry can and have set up a place to mount it, so no more running out of fuel this time!! Went up to Lancelin on Boxing Day and camping north of Lancelin. Spent a couple of days carrying around extra fuel that I didn't end up needing, but it's better to be safe than sorry.................

I was just testing the water to see if anyone was interested in a run, could be a bit tricky this year for a couple of people expecting a new off roader:yes:

Might be better for day trips this year and maybe a trip away in 2007??:)

I am doing the conversion to my ride now with some big mods to get it off the ground
I will be some weeks away before I get it to roll out the work shop .

winter is good , I have aircon so the heat is fine with me as well !

seagull - January 27th, 2006 at 12:02 AM

so far my liberty wagon has made a large change to its look over the last few weeks

I have now a ej20T turbo rs motor fitted to it with twin turbo auto gear box visc lsd diff in the rear and now have one for the front diff .

I have lifted the body 75mm with a further 40mm spring lift .Then fitted new forester 16" steel rims with 215 x 70 mud and snow tyres .I am doing the bash plate for the under side of the car .

have made a throttel body angle plate as my turbo intercooler was hitting the fire wall .

I can say working on a subaru is great , so many parts interchange with the WRX .
and there is a lot out there .

seagull - January 28th, 2006 at 01:37 AM

Not sure here pete if you are looking for

n/a motors Damein 0408918163 he may have some ej22 c/w wiring and ecu afm

Christian 0419928306 may still have a ej22 with wiring and ecu afm ( I think he has just removed it from his wifes liberty ????

Jap parts + 9493 2191 may still have some ej16 ( single cam type ej20 ) jap motors > this will do your head in as no info on wiring ecu .

I have no idea as to the ks motors have done , but the ej motor are good for 500,000 + ks .

turbo motor are around $1800.00 +
n/a ej22 are from $750.00 + or -

I paid $1800.00 for my ej20 n/a motor done 83k > but many issues with wiring of ecu and sill having issues ! ( jap import )
