Just returned from a trip through the Camp Milo/ Kings Bore track and back down Teewah beach. We went via the Cooloola Way which was VERY dusty and very rough but soon after getting on the Camp Milo track I had a banging from the front l/h side and thought I'd collected a branch in the brake pipe hose (had that happen the last time) anyway it wasn't a branch but the top shock mounting bolt had snapped off cleanly and was impossible to remove. I ended up removing the shockie completely(is there any other way?) and carrying on. Apart from the occasional bouncing completely off the floor we had a great time. If anyone else wants to try this track please give me a call, there are tracks going off in all directions from the main route and you could spend months exploring all of them. Quite deep sand throughout and certainly tests the car out. All up even with 1 shock absorber an awesome trip!
I'll be up that way on the weekend of the 13th Jan, so I'll give you a bell.....sounds like you had fun......now to get that Baja of yours going for
the young one.....:P
