Baja Stripes 70' model
The_Bronze. - May 18th, 2007 at 03:25 PM

Hi all.

I'm just trolling for ideas on how to pattern my Baja's stripes. If anyone has any suggestions or pictures they would like to share.

I have had some great ideas from the Buggy Adventures guys so if you have some stunning graphix jobs you'd like to share I'll happily listen.

The base coat is dark matt grey.

I'll find some pics.

manx shape? :o

he wants a J&S shape. :D

But seriously, that's not a bad idea. It would look really cool and offset the rest of the car completely. I wouldn't go yellow. I'd head for something a bit more subtle, like a dark red or blue, in gloss of course. And, you get your buggy without having to pay big $$$ for it. ;)

Otherwise, you could do some scallops in gloss clear coat, or flames.

BTW, can I suggest if you want to do something different, find a way to paint the roof a light colour. In summer time you'll thank yourself.

Thanks Guys.

Um, what a Manx Stripe Look like. I can't recall if I have seen one.

I had the roof Grey (Matt) last summer and it was fine. Because it's not worth stealing I can leave the windows down. I have carpet lining the roof which is a terrific barrier from the heat.

Off to google Manx Stripes.
