I'm fitting an external oil cooler to my J&S beach buggy.
Motor is a stockish 1600. Only mild offroading planned. The rear doesn't lend itself to fitting a cooler and getting reasonable airflow through
it.
I'm trying to avoid relying on a electric fan to get airflow, or putting the cooler where it get hammered/ packed with mud.
So the question is- If I fit the cooler at the front of the buggy will the standard oil pump cope?
if its a stockish 1600 you don't need an external cooler.

The motor I have didn't have an internal one (long story) not going t pull the engine out to fit one, so this seems like a passable solution. (really dont want to pull the engine back out)
mate i mounted mine on top of the rear cowl ,its barely viable from inside the car ,
