Where to buy rims?

Just wondering where you buy new rims for your Bajas and Buggies. Do normal wheel or 4wd shops usually stock wheels for beetles?

what sort of rims do you want? if you are going wide 5 stud pattern (early VW) don't, I ended up buying in US made steel powdercoated rims as they came out cheaper than locally made stuff, but then that was before the dollar crashed. I'd suggest you swap to toyota landcruiser, falcon or commodore and use that instead. commodore chaser rims are 15x6, strong and can be bought from a wrecker as cheap as $25 each. then there is the choice of aftermarket alloys too.

Thanks guys, I have 4 stud with widened stock rims on the rears, which are fine for now. My donor car came with brand new front discs, so I won't be changing the stud pattern in a hurry. I need to get tyres anyway, so I was thinking of getting some rims whilst i'm at it. I like the look of a nice set of simple black rims on a baja.
