4 to 5 stud BAJA conversions

hey guys,
thought id hit you vw brainiacs up for some answers :)

im trying to work out the easiest way to get my BAJA on the road,

its a 69 so its 4 stud all round, and came with 6" sunraysia rims all round, too skinny for the back :)
i have a set of wide five sunraysias i want to use of my old baja (14"x 6" and 15"x8")

ive got the 4 to 5 stud adapters for the disc brake front and they work a treat ( for offroad use only of course )
now i want to convert the rears to 5stud.

the 4 stud brake drums are the wide ones and all seem good, ie shoes n cylinders etc,
which VW wide five drums am i after? type 3 or what.

is there an easier way, i thought about drilling and tapping the 4 stud drums but they have a seperate hub behind the drum, they arnt solid like the old wide five drums.

is it easier to convert the whole lot back to earlier 1960s brakes (the skinny shoes) id rather keep the wider shoes as shes running a grumpy 1835

i put an add in the buy n sell section incase some one has two wide 15" 4 stud rims, but well see what happens,

any help or advice would be appreciated,

'the rear's are the wide ones'....well are they type 3? How wide? Exactly!

If the rears are type three, the shoes are wider and the drum is a slightly larger diameter, but the type 3 5x205 (wide 5) drum will fit straight on, so that's the easiest way, just need to find the drums. :)

The small axle drums from the early splitties work too, (that what I got) not sure which is harder to get hold of though?

ALL SORTED :)))))))
found some fat drums on an old beetle/buggy down the yard,
no idea they were there, pays to have a look hey :)
these were the same width as the 4 stud 69 beetle drums and had the 45mm shoes,
had a 5 spoke star in the middle of the drum, so when the fat sunraysias are on you can see this star,
any idea if these are the type 3 ones or the kombi ones?
