Oooh hard one.
Pick of the week - is it a member's ride? I think rat look forum is for members talking about their cars and pic of the week is for things everyone
can have a laugh at.
Andrew
Nah, John Jones runs KCW, or Kustom Coach Works in the US.
Wicked work..
This is the new bolt in airbag kit, whilst running the new Type 1 bolt-in narrowed beam setup up for Type 3's.
Not bad huh?

If your looking for some where to post it........post it to me:P
Jim that does look nuts, but I would love to see what Trayle Duncan comes up with in regards to a narrowed beam for a type3. He wants to use a bus
beam instead for the weight rating. I would also like to see how he has bagged it, cause if its the same as the split, then I would be a little
worried...
N!
nnniiiicccceeee
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice :bounce
What are the advantages of running a type 1 beam in a type 3? The only upside I can see is eliminating the low hanging type 3 front end mounting
brackets.
Yeah, as well as the more adaptable products available to Beetles, compared to Type 3's. Performance stuff, as well as spindles, brakes and so on.
Type 3 inners also start to bind up when it is THIS low..
Still, these guys made sure most of this 'kit' was bolt in. They send modded tie rods, beam, the whole thing, minus brakes and something else I
can't remember.. They are running beetle dropped spindles too..
thats verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr nice
Cool, sounds good. Those type3 front ends are damned heavy too
Got any more pics of the car? It looks awesome.
Makes Nellie look like a 4x4
kool
One more..
The maiden voyage around the block, as per tradition.
Nice huh. The close ups of the rear appear to be the tyre treads of Michies 125's.. he he.. Wouldn't that be fun..

Sorry bro, shoulda said that...
thats one mad ass type3
rat rat rat but its hard to keep it like that, the pull to shiny side is strong
man, I don't know whether to kiss them or punch them, butI have to say, tha tnotch looks BAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!
can go lower on beetle beam plus narrowability
I want a job at KCW.
the commute would kill me tho.
Heh. Well and truly rat.
The t3 squareback I used for parts for my S beetle reminds me of that. Only thing is, you could put your hand through any part of it. I pulled off the
tailgate with my bare hands to get better access to the engine bay.
Hmm, if I lowered my van and put a bigger motor in it, it would be a candidate. Dents, paint patches, twisted bits, faded and rusty bits, mismatched
parts and terrible repairs! Maybe i should take a photo. Wish I'd taken one of the skylight. It broke into about 50 pieces. It's a patchwork of
original shards and bits of plastic bottles.
Anyway, nice wheels! congrats.
go the rat
