Hey all,
Just bought and drove back from the Gold Coast to Canberra, Jeff Baker's Rat Rod. I will be doing some things to the beast over time and will be
posting progress here in this part of the forum.
First up I need to fix a small oil leek resulting from the 1200km trip home and also need to get the brakes machined as they are a bit out of round.
This is all I need to do before approaching an engineer about a certificate for the guards, lights (headlight, taillight and indicators), the front
bench seat and the relocated handbrake. Once this is done, I can go through the RWC process in May with confidence.
I will also be gradually rubbing the car back to bare metal to smooth out the panels and then respray it in it's current matt black colour.
Will post updates next week re progress on the oil leek and brakes.
A pic of the inside. I should note that current pics were taken by Brian White (sneak_e), thanks mate.

Talked to Jeff at Valla, and couldn't get enough of the Rat Rod..
