Went to a Vintage swap meet today, in search of some early model spoke wire wheels for my VolksRod project..
Been looking for wheels for this car for about a year and finally had some success today with a set of 1933 Chevrolet Spoke wires...
Here's the wheels...
and this is the look I'm going for with the car...
:thumb
Nice and hope you get there
Nice one Dan - can't wait to see/hear/smell it !!!
speaking off wire wheels

The yellow one Was going to be the basis for the Volksrod, but everything's for sale.... If he wants it bad enough, I'll consider selling...
Otherwise I can supply him with enough parts to build his own...

Yeahah - I'll do one like that one day... one day...
i'm liking the idea of a serious rechroming, and possible respoking for those wires. mmm.
chopped, dropped, full gloss black, with tasteful chrome bits, and ghost flames.
and supercharge the bastard
Bright red spoke wire wheels, probably white wall tyres and a very worked 2 litre..
wheels will look great......love the car
Thanks:thumb
Only one thing to do now. Stop posting things and get out and start working., Keep us posted. Cant wait to see the end result. :thumb
