How about Airbrushing? - After a break of a few years, I've just started blowing (pun) money on the gear again, and first up was the kids bedroom mural, which has come up kinda cool. Just when I though I was (and am) a Photochop legend and made a livin' out of it, I've now discovered airbrushing again, without any undo button.

Who sells pinstiping brushes? Mack or Excalibur?

How about Auto paint? Been told House of colour opaque and translucent (candy) are the best.

A mate's just given me a 74 decklid to paint up, not sure what to do on it, flames seem a bit obvious, was thinking Kate Beckinsale (of UNDERWORLD) fame. Also wanna have a go at some fuel doors, a chrome 'race' rivet might be cool. Any suggestions of 'postable' type parts worth doing. Speedos?

My fave site right now is http://www.killerpaint.com  - nice work going on there.nn[Edited on 11-7-2005 by crewcabconnection ]

I wonder if there is anyone in WA who can do stuff like this?

crewcabconnection - July 14th, 2005 at 08:19 PM

Just got a standard glove box lid off a mate, for an early 60s bug. So figure I'll airbrush that ... I'm working my way up in scale ... was gonne do it rivets, rust and armoured, with some evil bits maybe.

Any ideas, when it's done someone can have it I guess. I dont have the rest of the car.

CoopGirl - July 14th, 2005 at 08:33 PM

When it's done post some pics.... it might suit someones car.
