.
whats the process when ur doing pinstriping?
it amazes me... looks so damn good!
ya draw lines just a rough guess mind ya
really??
i mean is anything planned? or u just do what comes.. and do u finish one whole side, then go to the other or wat?
Looking Good! and a good choice of colour also
Ive only ever done vector (computer) style pinstrips (Never actually used a brush!).
But the way I do it is with a general idea of what I want and where its gonna fit...
Decide my colours (no more than two), start with a pencil and apply a vertical (with a curve obviously) path of two, then mirror it. Continue until
you have the basic lines mapped, then hit it with the tools.....I always work from side to side....Thats my way, others may have a different
approach.
Here's some quickies Ive run off....I find it EZR to do it this way... One day I will get my hands on some brushes and try it for real...For now
though, its practice, practice, practice...On the Mac!
Nice pinstriping on the 62 cab.
Keep up with the good work!
man that computer stuff looks like fun , nice designs
but youve gota have a go with a dagger brush very rewarding
utes looking nice 62...love ur work...coming along nicely
i sketch up with a stablo pencil a pattern that comes as i sketch then lay down the lines with a mack brush with one shot sign writers paint and try to keep the lines smooth flowing and no f@#ck ups
