Whitewalling radials?
Der Kafer Trieber - June 20th, 2006 at 05:54 PM

Been on the restowagen uk forum and having a chat subject came up aobut whitewalls, and how you can get your non whitewalls painted.

Do any of you fellas know where abouts it can be done?
i'm guessing it's cheaper than buying some cokers and alot more tyre choice to!

You can get clear lenses from Classic VeeDub

ren - July 24th, 2006 at 01:08 AM

thick thick? not just thick?!

humpty - July 24th, 2006 at 01:16 AM

Do you mean COKER/FIRESTONE thick?.... Like the whole side wall kinda thick?.... I think you might not be able to go that far..... But if you can, you then need to make sure you can actually 'wall' your tyres also.... not all tyres are compatible so I have been told.... If the silica (?) content is high (as most modern tyres are apparently) then you may have issues with adhesion...

You have been warned!
