a few more pics moving along
hehe, shes a bloke? lol
NICE WORK MATE! U gonna be doing wheely stands in this thing?
You might want to think about the effect the mods to the fan shroud will have on cooling. Number 3 cylinder is prone to running hotter due to the oil cooler location. Add some boost and temps will rise again.
i have run the fan with a drill and measured the air via a wind vane and i get better flow than the org i have made some alterations inside the shroud and the oil cooler is remote so there is very little interferance this project has been on the bench for quite a wile
I must bring that carby over to you:o
one day as i need it sounds selfish but i can't drag it all to u to see and i'm holding your esky hostige

nice work ill have to drop down and have a look one day soon, i just started taking apart that rusty rat i brought off u.
cheers brenton
hmm steve may i suggest a less angular intake manifold ,
some sharp angles that pressured air will be passing though.
A valiant effort though, im looking foward to see how she goes in the long term ,
thanks all the angles are really dictated by thr amount of room available i have used all the avaible space by using the hargest tubes i can and brenton i found the keys for the rat drop by when ya can
You should post this project over at the HAMB.
Those guys would be real interested in this...
yep your right i will soon
had to toss the helper out kept getting in the way and laying down on the job so i hired a new bloke he needs a few cloths and medical attention for
the large rash and swelling
yeah greedy ill drop by soon , maybe even the sarvo lol
cheers brenton
any more progress?
up to fitting a carby just deciding on whitch one may go with a duel through progressive webber
i have fitted the external oil cooler and made the support brackets after the carby it's just deciding on the pulley size
pulley size = tiny!!!
more boost, more boost!!!
that pully is only there to line up the rest of the pulley gang the one going on is 3.0 inch this is just bthe trial and fit time all the parts are
there and the final fit gegins very soon

mmm, naastee
You need some trumpets on top of that carbie dude.
so does it run?
hey, nice work dude. is that an old toyota supercharger? if it is, did you have to modify it to run suck thru? i was looking at doing something similar but need cash for the gearbox first haha. good luck with it
yep it runs and yes it is toyota and no problems with petrol being blown through i gave toyoat a call and they assured me that there would be no worries and i have done this before with my kombi and run it maney miles
does it have any problem with running rich at idle or anything? and how do you have to jet the carby? how much boost can you safely run?
at idle there is no prob and at full song you need bigger jets i'm using a webber twin through with bigger main jets in the second through and i can run 6lb with no worries when you remember that 6 bl is only at full revs 4000 normaly 1-3 lb while running around normaly
