We had a minitruck show in Canberra on the weekend... look what rolled up
sweet did you get to talk to the owner ? to find out what running gear ect he got goin ?
Nice. Any more info ??
They are a litte secretive about it I will get it out of them though.
Another pic though
Nice. They built it or had others do the work ?
Looks awesome, I want to bag one of my bugs badly....but only if its a relatively easy job that doesn't require too much hacking and ruining of
orginality.
Obviously the Tuckshop built it? Get some info out of them....I'd like to know what they did setup wise, and if they can reproduce a kit maybe?
Thanks
A mate sent that to me a few days ago. there's heaps more pics on the tuckshop website.
pretty cool btw.
Yeah, thats a tuckshop built bug. Best to talk to them.
We're not secretive about it Liam, no one asked us about it. LOL
Yep, we at the tuckshop did all the work to the bug, and getting it this low was definately not a walk in the park.
Simply putting your beetle 'on air' can be relatively simply, but going this low cannot be done without alot of cutting.
Bug has a 7" narrowed beam built from scratch, running slam specialties airbags, AZ compressor, tubbed in the front and rear, modified headlight
buckets, and heaps of other stuff i cant remember. lol
There will be some construction pictures up on http://www.tuck.com.au shortly. Cheers
for the comments guys, alot of sleepless nights went into getting the bug on the road.
Now we'd love to do it to a splitty...
classic ... i was just about to jump on here and ask if anyone knew this car haha
.... just drove past it not far from my house outside the shop
Luv it
