Spent Tuesday and Wednesday at Wakefield Park [GEAR Club], driving the Mako Vee. Having only finished the car on Monday, and not having driven a Vee
for 42 years, I was a bit apprehensive.
After a few laps of bedding in rings, brakes, ertc. it was ready for action. Soon it all became clear why I enjoyed Vee racing so much, and despite
the almost gale-force winds, it was fantastic.
I managed one spin [you need to find the limit, don't you?], and running out of fuel [forgot to fill the tank], but that aside, the car was great.
Cheers,
Greg

Good stuff Greg.
Spin, spin, spin, round, round, round.....
Hey, go easy Matt......only ONE spin [360 deg.].......Haven't I told you a hundred million times not to exaggerate?
Thats great news Greg what sort of lap times were you getting "out of the box" and will see you racing against the other historic vees?
Great to hear you had a lots of fun, I'm now 12 years out of Vee's just need that time, money and space and I'd be out there too with one of my two that I own (both chassis' at the moment).
