Grid list for Winton Historics 29th - 30th May is out, and Herbie will be riding again.
Last outing was a 3rd in class so hopefully I can "punch bug" myself up the front!
If anyone is visiting over the weekend feel free to say hello

Grid
I am no maths genius but with only two in the class (Na) I am guessing you are going to better your previous finish.
The entry says Qld - are you doing the HRCC events at Morgan Park ? I will have to come along and check out the bug.
I wish the event would use that same maths, last event was first for NA but they combined us in a group N class, so to get a 3rd above 7 NB cars was a
bonus.
My CAMS license is still QLD, car is based in VIC and running most historic meets a few hill climbs and doing the Geelong revival sprints down
here.
Though will be keen to get it to Bathurst next Easter
just curious are you guys in Na or Nb running 1200cc motors or something else?
Group Na is for production touring cars as recognised by CAMS and commercially available in Australia prior to 31st December 1957, with the inclusion
of certain run-on models, the car runs 1200cc, though with a shortage of 36hp cases they now allow us to use 40hp.
Car runs twin carbs but can only be single throat.
Will load some footage from Rob Roy hill climb
Herbie finishes first in class and 21st outright from a 32 car field.
Car ran fantastic and the battle between me and the humpy FJ was on every race, whilst we were not up the front with mustangs we surely provided the
crowd and commentators some great racing.
Also walked away with 2015 encouragement award for the meet so was stoked with results.
Next outing is Broadford hill climb before heading back to Winton long track to take on 4 FJ's
herbed
It may not be your thing - but I run a horn speaker under the front passenger guard and have the Herbie theme on loop whilst I am racing - kids and folk seem to get a kick out of it - a few times I ran without it I had too many people complain (nicely)
