Today (7/04/04) at CBB Racing a V-FORCE suppiled 2007cc motor has made 138.3HP @ 6450 rpm at the wheels in a full street car with 48 IDA webbers with
air cleaners and street exhaust AND PUMP FUEL!!! (96 octane)
The first run with the jetting that was done the night before made 133.6HP at the wheels. The fuel curve at 138.3HP is still not perfect but Mike
Kirsten said that there still is another 10HP in the jetting.
The motor consists of 78x90.5 stoke bore, 40x37.5 valves, simple bosch electronic ignition. and red plug leads to match the colour of the car as its a
street driven car.

Alex , that is Really Great.
did you check out the Torque curve and if you dont mind...
what sort of revs to get that 138 HP.
LOL
He's wrong man. It was my single port 1584 with twin 1040 Holleys
It has to be 1916cc, surely strokers don't make that sort of power!
Ahh, 78mm stroke.
The favorite stroke for some, I've heard.
Well done
sounds great!
what car is it in?
kai
p.s. i can't see the dyno sheet
good result......so who's car is it ?
If I was Paul I would be pissed off ! and Jak why didn't your engine get these results.??
No way ,
if stan didn't do the machine work it can't be true..
must be at least running 94's to make power.:cry:cry:cry:puke:party
c'mon guys, this thread is still in the 'interesting' phase, don't turn it into the usual crap too quick hey......
kai
Craig,
Can you post your picture so we can all see what u look like ??
I think I'm in
love..................................................................................................................................................
.................................................................................................................
Alex, and chance on posting some more info,................or is it a secret!
Is this the 2007cc motor that came with the oval you bought, which the previous owner spent BIG $$$ on ?
[Edited on 15-4-2004 by Craig Torrens]
I love you to Johny :thumb, but if I post a picture you would have to share me we others.................hehehehe
What sort of comp is it running.
From the graph it would seem that there's still some work to be done, which just means more power.
NICE WORK
hmmmmmm craigie its a secret
its no 94s mate
So now I understand why you said "supplied by V force"in your first post Alex, and not "built by V force". The engine was not developed or built
by V force, it was the engine that was in the oval you bought, the berg one ?
Any chance of a clearer Dyno picture !!
I'm interested to see the HP at the low to mid range revs. The curve seems to be up and down ????
What cam is it running, looks like a fk89.
Looks like a good drag combo.

yeh we will be goin back!! didnt have the right jets
its a blurr, ya sure its ok ?
well its make 111.5hp @ 4900rpm
i took the pic with my digital cam and had to make it small and now its burry
Alex, e-mail me the full size pic. I'll sort it out
So the same HP as a Steroids 1916 at 4900rpm. What about the other revs, can you list the HP at each Rev interval.
go on msn cam
does (0b) mean it's a very short clip?
congrats to whoever owns the motor; hope to see it driven at the drags this Saturday!!!!
Alex, could ya wipe some of the vaso of the lens next time you take a photo? blurriness does more for Craig's chiselled looks than it does for a
dyno sheet :P
:vader
lol ok next time...
such exciting times for the VW industry, especially us tappet heads.
What does this have to do with my motor Craig? I'm estatic with mine.?
As long as u are happy with yours as well then thats all that matters huh?
Jak
Fantastic Alex. Sounds bloody good too.
Awesome, I had a feeling about those strokers - and the black lines that run out of my driveway:cussing
I know a guy with a 2007 turbo midmounted in a trike, seems like a nice engine combo.
I stroker that produces more power than something with 94's?
Good to see!
