There is a very famous/ cult Video made in the 80s I think of a Ferrari driving from one side of Paris to the other as fast as possible, like a 15 minuet ride no stops lights anything I saw it a number of years ago and man that was HECTIC, If you can find a copy get a look I am sure someone here will know the name of it, perhaps we could do the same from Narrabeen to liverpool in your beast??? ;-) Major Mitchell

yeh ive seen stuff like that in paris and london... its crazy!!! i wish i could do it in my car it would be hectic lol.... but i dun wanna lose my licence before i get it!!!

there's a lot of stuff like that out there, all the getaway in stockholm ones..... i've seen loads of bikers going silly speeds in citys and stuff.

vw stuff, aircooled, is not easy to find, quite a bit of watercooled stuff out there if that floats your boat.

personally i download anything that involves the abuse of something with an engine!

Yeah I love it, and I have to watch it thru a 33k modem- its still thrilling.

I've got a couple at home to - one of some drag starts where they're "warming" the tyres and another of a guy in a back blocks garage that comes out sideways!!!

I have no idea where these came from though as they were sent to me ages ago- and one is huge (for my poor old slow modem anyway

I did a bit of searching adn i have sussed out that video that
waltermitty mentioned.

The full title is "C' Était Un Rendezvous" it was filmed in 1976
by Claude Lelouch’s. Apparently there were no roadblocks and the car was a 275/GTB. It all sounds very exciting.

I just remebersd where I saw that video - I dont like to call my countrymen dumb but - It was on one of those police stop action shows about 8 years ago - with, I think, Peter Brocks voice over teling me how silly this guy was, all the time the Ferrari is singing away screaming around Paris. All it did for me was confirm that driving fast like a maniac can be a huge amount of fun !!!
