Or maybe when 12 cylinders just aren't enough!
The Turbo version had over 2000 Hp in qualifying trim and just over 1,500 in race mode!

Was being developed for the 917-30 inthe USA Can-Am series which Porsche demolished with the 12 cyl engine!

No wonder the rules were changed before the 16 cylinder version even turned a wheel.

Boy, what could have been!!!!
