So I finaly got the oval to gether and made it on the re-run, all beit just in the knick of time. so far we have been to Mt Cotton hill clim were I can 4th with a 61.03 which I thinks not bad as we only get one look at the track then the timed run. Also had a run a Noosa hillclimb with as 84 sec run. we have had about six motorkhana's so far still getting use to the car so not run so well in them but as of the 28th I was in 15th position out of 64 so not to bad. Also running in the event is Barry Ferguson (numerous rally victories) in a late modle irs VW. he's in 10 so I figure I'm not doing to bad. we are at Toowoomba to night and on to Armidale to morrow with an autocross and an another motorkhana. I think in the under 1500 class only a mini cooper s and a GT cortina are ahead of me. I have movies and pic's but can't post at the moment. will post when I get time. I belive the event can be followed at "rerunatpeugeot.com.au" I think will have to have a look my self.
top work man.
i caught a glimpse of your oval in the background of a little bit the ABC news did of the start of the rerun.

Heard about this from a friend, pity I didn't know about it earlier and I could have gone out to have a look for myself.
Rob...
I think they are at Huntley Hillclimb at Dapto on the 21st of May?
It's finally all over. What a blast! Four weeks of driving and racing. In the end I finished 6 out right and won the 1500 cc non Peugeot class. I was the first non Peugeot home with only hot 404 beating me. I have heaps of pics that I will post when I get a chance. The car ran faultlessly, it light weight and ability to get the power to the ground was no doubt why it preformed so well.
:thumb good one.
cant wait for the pics
Hey Wonbat
Lookin forward to the pic's.

Her is a pic of the car coming onto the straight at Morgan Park Warwick

ACE
Thanks! Anymore?
Rob...
That is so cool.
Well done on a number of fronts:
1. For placing well
2. For doing it in an oval
3. For preparing a car that goes the distance
4. For having a well presented car
I'd love to hear more.
Well done!
thats sick!
looks real good, congrats on the results. Worth all the hard work, and to think I was thinking you should give the old girl a rest being an old oval and all. I'll eat my words. Give her a pat for me.
Congratulations.
