Hello fellow competitors!
Hopefully you will know that CAMS is implementing a new "targeted scrutineering process" which appears to allow CAMS to relieve themselves of all
responsibilities...but i wont start on that! I'm not sure to what level of competition (ie, sprints, hillclimbs) this effects but you may wish to
contact CAMS if you're unsure cause it will definitely effect you if you're in the State circuit series.
Anyway, CAMS was not planning on catering for any Canberra competitors, requesting that the travel to Sydney for a half hour inspection. A few of us
Vee boys have questioned this and have asked that a Canberra session be arranged, as it would seem more economically viable and well, just plain
sensible!
So far is seems CAMS is willing to send someone down to Canberra. The plan is to have the inspection performed at the Fairbairn Hill Climb track
scrutineering bays. If you are subject to this process and would prefer to have your car inspected in Canberra rather than in Sydney, please email me
at pringa8@hotmail.com and let me know. That's if CAMS actually follows through of course! :vader
