CACA car club is running a khanacross this saturday on their grounds at Cataract scout park near Appin, an hour out of Sydney. The event is open to
all clubs as I understand it. Hopefully we can finally race after the last two were washed out.
Here is a contact for the club if anyone would like to enter...

You'd better get in quick though. Places are filling up.
To anyone who'd like to come and watch I believ entry is free. Myself and at least one other VW buggy will be racing, so it won't be all boring
dattos and toyotas.
washed out :cry
That brings back memories Pete,
I remember driving in one of their days at Cataract Park about 20 years ago, in someone elses Mini.
It took some getting used to as I'd only ever driven rear drive VWs up to then.
Things seemed to work best in the Mini when you had the handbrake on most of the time and just let
the rear end slide around while the front wheels did all the work.
so are you gonna bring your car down to one, or are you too afraid of getting it dirty?:P
I think I'd have to jack it up just to get it in the driveway...
My beetle's not really an off road type of car. I'll do an asphalt/concrete one any day.
I did once do a motorkhana in my Audi 5+5!
Are you bringing the buggy to Merroo next month?
Dunno, the Pug I just bought is a lot better on fuel, the conference is a few days after the Valla weekend (6 hours both ways in a noisy buggy on the highway), and I'm only coming up for the day too. Which reminds me, I need to get my act together and let Kirsty know what I'm doing. Are you taking ya bug?
Yep,
I'll take you for a spin
going up for the day on wednesday, I'll see you then.
