R6 NSW Hillclimb Championship - Grafton 9 & 10 June

For all those north coasters or QLDers who want to see a bit of motor sport action then Round 6 of the NSW Hillclimb will be held this week end (9th and 10th June) at the Mountainview Motor Sport Complex Grafton.

There are a few VW's making the trip including me and the old man, Heath & Christine Campbell as well as some VW powered open wheelers.

Sat is practice and starts at 12:00 while race day starts at 9:00am. Hope to see you there if you come.

went for a look today....TOP DAY!

..for once Grafton was warm and not windy:cool:

......Craig, looks like you had better amend your signature there, Heath went 51.74, close but not quite........Sauer in the RS 2000 went 51.57 to take the class record by 0.03 seconds.

and Craig, the first hairpin, did it go clockwise or anti clockwise last time.....it went anti-clockwise this time, but i thought it was the other way round before?

The beetles were running strong, sounded awsome and had the spectators attention........thanx guys and gal, good show, well done.

i will try and load some piccies and vids later.

Congrats to all for going..............................pity the VW's let an Escort take my record !!!...................ah well I guess nearly 10 years of holding it would come to an end one day. .....................until I run my NEW car next year, hehehehehehe.

The first loop has always been anti clockwise.

Great pictures Dumone, maybe next year you can debut your 1776 ??

Spotted all you Hill climbing guys heading south back towards Sydney yesterday. I was heading back to Brissy after spending one very wet weekend in Sydney for the Toyota Owners Club National meet. Man are the roads rough in Sydney or what??? And when they are wet it's just crazy!!

Well I had a winning weekend taking out car of the meet and best engine bay. Would have loved to stop and watch you guys race to show some of the Toyota boys what torque is all about.....
