First test flight
colin - July 13th, 2007 at 11:33 AM

After getting a wheel alignment last friday night i took the car out to Narrabri for a test drive.Due to CAMS and these stupid OH&S rules we cannot have private practice days
anymore here so of i went to find that quiet country road.
Ive got a mate who lives in a dead end,the road is about 3kms of dead straight bitumen and only 3 other houses in the street. We worded them up, they were cool "Can we watch' ,one said,no pressure here.
So up and down the street i went for half an hour, how did it go?I forgot how quick this little 1916 revs, thank goddness for rev limiters. No oil leaks, no funny noises just one big stupid grin.God bless MR Weber those IDAs sound so glorious on full noise.
So bring on Warwick and if your thinking of going stop and just get there its a great weekend

Cheers Col

Mate the car is very reliable, on the car trailer!
Craig are you coming up? We could have a heads up drag just for fun,two tuff 1916 down the strip it would be a blast.
I suspect you would hose me though, but it would be awesome.
