A few days ago I suggested that it would not be long before there would be a possible "Mini beater" around. Well, things have moved more quickly
than I expected - I have just purchased a '75 L Bug which has been extensively modified. With a few changes, it should be very competitive. Watch
this space !!!!!!
Cheers, Greg
Noooooooo!!!! You can't tease us like that! Where are the pictures? The spec's? how 'extensively modified' are we talking here?
Welcome aboard Greg, good to have you here.
one more nooooooooooo !!!!!
thats way to much of a tease....
Hold your horses you guys ! I don't pick the car up until to-morrow !!!!! As soon as it hits my shed (to-morrow afternoon) I'll be INTO IT. Keep you
posted.
Cheers, Greg

Jeez you blokes are pushy!! Haven't even got the car off the trailer yet, but as soon as I've finished here the job will be under way.
For those who have not guessed, the car is ex - Paul Muller (Turbo 2.3 water-cooled). It needs a bit of TLC, and setting up for track use - presently
in off road trim.
Hope to have it ready for Mini-Beating duties ASAP. As I can barely use this computer thingy, I doubt if I can send photos - old dog/new tricks
etc.
Cheers, Greg
Hi Greg
Good on you, cant wait to see what you get up to with this car, look out Minis or anything else for that matter.
Steve
Hi Greg,
I spoke with you at the VW supersprint....I was/am so impressed with what you have done in a beetle. I hope you can work out how to post photos,
because all the old photos on your mac you showed me from 60/70/80's racing beetles are great and would be awesome if you could share with us on
here. Truly are great pieces of beetle racing history........not to take away from what you are doing now though!!
You are a wealth of information and with such experience it would be great if one day you could maybe put down in words exactly how you run a lap at
Wakefield for all us wannabees, a "Track Guide" as such, anyway just a thought.
Cheers
Paul
