Just signed on and wish to advise you that I am the newly appointed Historic Formula Vee Assoc. Australia Qld rep and as such would ask that anyone venturing down that path can get in touch with me via this means and hopefully I can be of some assistance to this transition as it can be rather daunting to the unsuspecting especially getting all the information you require to either get started, curret specs required to run and assistance with Certificates of Descriptions from CAMS. In addition to having your engine initially sealed by one of the two nationally appointed ones we now have up here in Qld. I am also a member of the Historic Racing Car Club of Qld as well.

PS there are two main stashes of bits for 1200 FV and HFV in Qld. One is located at Warwick under Stephen Wilkins and I have the other as I live near Bribie Island if you happen to reside in the Brisbane area. I have other contacts/networks in the Brisbane area for just about all you would need to go racing from engine rebuilds at the right price to parts at the right price.

PPS I am new to this mod of communication so suffer in silence and I will eventually get the hang of it.

Sorry to hijack your thread Bob but just to let you know , we at Custom Vee Dub ( as below ) have quite a few sets of 1200 tinware available for those on the search .
