beat me to it!!! awesome stuff, the sound of that thing in real life is awesome, that thing has so much power you drop the clutch and wait and then
tromp it on the throttle and watch the wheels spin, plus that thing revs like a motorbike... awesome

Sounds good.........
never competed in a hill climb or driven a high powered open wheeler, but watching that vid, I am surprised how little the throttle is used?? or is
that the warm up lap?
Cheers

I'd like to see the result of 600HP used consistantly on a hillclimb...

its a tight track, not very many places where an open wheeler can open it up.

while we are looking at VW supercharged open wheeler vids, found a couple of Peter Gumely's type 4 powered machine........fast enough for 11 wins of
the outright title in NSW hillclimb championship ..........certainly
one thing in common with these 2 cars is you don't really appreciate the pace of them until you talk to their owners and know exactly what km/h the
gears they are using run out too.......
i believe peter hits 200km/h before the top of the hill at fairburn................the 0-100km/h time is just silly, i'll find out exactly what it is before i post it up

true that Craig..........this one would be in the same class as Stan........and shows the track a bit better.......also shows what happens when you
hold the throttle open for too long.....SCAREY!

In Stan's case the throttle is barely used because he's still sorting the suspension out. When you double the hp things tend to change. In Stan's
own words if he gets on the throttle in anything but a straight line the car starts to steer with the rear wheels, try and apply any power mid corner
and the car literally wants to loop itself.
The good news is he believes he'll have it sorted soon, then not only will it have explosive power but it will be fast as well, I can't wait.

That is awesome can someone let me know when it is running next. I am just down the road from Stan at Moonee and would love to see that thing at full
noise. Cheers Jukka
