For a bit of fun my Girlfriend & I took part in a round of the VMCC down at Werribee on Sunday.

We bought this rough 1302 as a no frills second car...

and thought it was due for a Christening.


We didn't do too brilliantly, not too badly either. We both got a couple of fastest times for our classes, and I went the right way more than not, which is always a plus!

I can't recommend these events highly enough! We proved that even with a stock and very tired "heavy" beetle you can still get some respective times, and for not alot of money (around $25 entry) have a whole day of competive fun
